My class started up again, and our first assignment was to do something in a style different than our normal drawing. I enjoy the dreamy, dense work of Theo Ellsworth, so I made a page with lots of texture and tried to make it not as literal as my usual stuff. This is my diary for Thursday, January 28. I wanted to include a hint of Jim Woodring, but I couldn't muster my absurdist sensibilities this week. I also wanted to color it, but just didn't have time!
