Saturday Boobies

sirensong

A little high school-y perhaps, but look - shading! The words are the lyrics to Siren Song by Bat for Lashes (I've been obsessing). I didn't crop it 'cause I liked the way it looked.

This is unrelated but I've been thinking about what's going to become mainstream and trendy this year, and so far I've come up with: vikings, ska music, unibrows and studs in clothing. We'll see if I'm right.

Wah wah, boo hoo.

I'm not sure how I feel about that new Followers widget. I kind of think it looks stupid. Kinda bulky.

Finally, Some Real Portland Weather.

webcomic119

I've been reading food gawker a bunch lately, and thinking about ending my (admittedly) half-assed veganism, then this morning I remembered that part of the reason I moved to Portland was that it was going to be so much easier to find good vegan food here. So yeah, wave your backyard chicken eggs and Humboldt Fog cheese in my face all you want, Portland. I'm still a half-assed vegan and I'm not gonna give it up.

Food gawker is my porn.

Oh yes, if you'll please notice, to the left, Portlanders can now purchase Milkyboots #6 at Tender Loving Empire (NW 17th and Lovejoy).

Trouble Tea

webcomic119

Actually, Sara and Jesse were waving at me for five minutes before I noticed them. I assumed that they were waving at L.H. and I couldn't figure out why she was ignoring them.

Little story: I have a Netflix account; they send me emails to let me know they have shipped my movie, y'know, with the day and the name of the movie. This week they shipped me Nothing. Nothing is the name of the movie. So on Thursday I got an email from Netflix that said: "For Thursday: Nothing."
Well, I thought it was funny. The movie was pretty good too.

Sat. Sketchie

suicidegirl

I haven't been writing here much lately, mostly because I've been obsessing about my lack of work. The thing is, it's not really a lack of work, it's a lack of paid work. I have enough stuff to do to keep me busy all day every day but the job search really eats up my time and is pretty depressing/humiliating to boot. I told myself to expect it, but I didn't really believe it. So yeah, that's it. I haven't even been doing very much drawing.

The Artistic Food Processor

webcomic117

It was this or a pages long clumsily written internal monologue about my sexuality. You're welcome.

And my fear of heights.

It's not quite accepting someone as my true lord and savior, but hey ...

UPDATE: Fuck, someone already did it.

Monsoon Personals, Part 2

webcomic115

I also really dislike the way my hands smell after eating burritos. Gross.

Oh yeah, there's some new bags I made in the shop. Check 'em out!

Drawing Teeth is the New Drawing Hair.

Atleast for me.

webcomic113

Happy Birthday to me! Thanks to everyone for the happy wishes, and thanks to John and Rachel for the lovely night. It was all great, but for me the highlight was pushing John's truck in heels when we had to bumpstart it.

Also, Woolard, no, I have not figured out how to get rid of the spiral thingys.

A Little Saturday Sketchiness

She is singing the song 'Bat's Mouth' by Bat for Lashes.

Art Sale!

Buy my stuff! Please?

webcomic112

I got a new notebook yesterday and I'm too lazy to figure out how to get rid of the spiral thingy. Maybe later. I at least figured out how to get rid of the yellow.

Gretchen and I were just talking about singing to ourselves while riding our bikes yesterday. I do it all the time. Not the best proportions in the last panel. My arms aren't actually that long! Oh well.

Another Crux for my Anxiety.

webcomic111

Heh. I don't go on dates very often. It was fun and so tetris.

My art sale is still going on! And remember, it's only for this week. Visit the shop for exciting (affordable) drawings!
