Thank you both! I did try using threshold, but the dpi was too low and I didn't feel like rescanning it haha. I'm so lazy.
The really weird thing that happens (only with my scanner, not with the one at work) is that I will clean up the scan and it'll look perfect, then when I upload it or re-open it, it'll look like this. I don't know what it is that makes it do that.
