That guy was amazing. He just rolled with it. We started to disagree when my actual friends showed up and he wanted to keep up the charade and I felt bad for Gretch and Whit. And then he said we'd dated, and I was like "Really? You think so?" But I guess after having been roommates all those years in college when we lived in Maryland, it was natural for us to have fallen into a relationship.
Oh what fun.
Sorry, everyone who wanted more V vs. V comics. I forgot to take pictures at the bar last night. Perhaps later.
Also, coming next week, A SUPER SECRET BIRTHDAY SURPRISE FROM ME TO YOU!

I've been reading Chris Yates' comics lately, so that was the partial inspiration for this. It's also sort of a belated birthday present for Allan, since he requested that me and my comic self meet. Thanks to Gretchen for taking the photos.
UPDATE: Oh f#%*, I may be in over my head on this one. Any of you Portlanders want to do another photo shoot?
UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: No, Woolard, I am not already banging someone here. DON'T WORRY YOU ARE STILL WAY HOTTER THAN ME. Love ya.

So tired ...

Being cracked out on coffee does not make for easy inking. Whoa.
The "Suurre..." is supposed to indicate my disappointment at it not being the job calling, not my disappointment at the idea of going underwear shopping with Megan. It was fun.

I am watching the Daily Show and drawing comics instead of looking for a job.

And the 'who is going to sleep in Virginia's bed' wars continue, much to my utter bafflement.

Guess who *still* needs a scanner?! And needs to learn photoshop once and for all?
My pen was leaking like crazy the whole time I was drawing this, plus I had shaky coffee hands. But it turned out okay!
Now with realistic hair!

Sorry this update is late. I was gonna post yesterday but I got distracted by Gretchen and a bottle of wine and then again later by Daniel. Then it was time for snacks and bed.
Anyone wanna do Stumptown Comix Fest with me?
UPDATE: Okay, I just figured out what was wrong with the 'Shop Milkyboots' link. The zine is now actually available, just click here or on 'Shop Milkyboots'. I am retarded.

Well, I have made it safe and sound to Portland, but because of the time change I woke up at 6 am. The above is part of my new plan to do actual drawings for the blog. You like?
I will upload pictures from my trip onto flickr sometime today. The whole drive was totally worth it just for that one stretch of Utah that nearly gave me an orgasm it was so beautiful.
UPDATE: The pictures of my trip and impromptu going away party are here. Enjoy!
Alright, I was gonna do a comic but honestly I feel a little too off kilter right now. I am sitting in a hotel room in Laramie, Wyoming, watching a TV show about the Tunguska Blast with my brother. We had dinner at the Sweet Melissa Vegetarian Cafe (highly recommended if you're ever in Laramie). Tomorrow, Boise.
It has been an insane couple weeks, so much so that my processing time is lagging like Leopard on an iBook*. I miss everyone already. And I'm pretty happy about the retarded symmetry of spending the first night and the last night in my Louisville apartment with a boy, freezing our asses off on the floor of the living room.
* I don't know if this simile holds.
Alright loyal readers, here's the deal. On Monday I am driving a truck filled with my worldly possessions to Portland, OR. I'll update if anything interesting happens, otherwise I won't be back to the regular schedule (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday) until the week after. I've got some exciting ideas for the comic when my life gets back to normal.
T-shirts and zines still available!
I had fun. Here is me and Pam, muggin' in the photobooth.
Also, if you want to see me doing some ACTING, Pam's movie 'Blanche is the New Black' can be found here. For shizzle.
