It does not look like I will be completing a diary comic this week as I have to watch a lot of Lost with my girlfriend and finish my stuff for my class anthology. This extremely terrible scan is a preview of that project (It's extremely bad because my pencils are really light and also I don't know how to use Photoshop, really.) It's about my roommate, who is one of the strangest and funniest people I have ever met.* If you want to see more of this story, and my vastly-more-talented classmates' work, you'll just have to come to Stumptown Comics Fest and get a copy. I know the website doesn't have my name on it, but I will be there, working the IPRC tables.
Also at Stumptown I will have for sale: a fiction mini-comic called "The Warehouse on Poplar," Milkyboots #10 Winter 2010 Diary, some back issues of Milkyboots and some other surprises.
*Olivia and I have been tempted to create a fan page for her on the FB, but think that it might creep her out.

Sorry about the ink blotches, I did this with my nib pen!

Well, I have been too busy doing zine camp promo stuff and other things, so I did not draw a diary this week. I know it's a cop-out, but this was the only new thing I had, from a mini-mini I made with the kids last week at the comics jam. It was called "Fun Things to do in the Springtime if you are a Robot in Portland." I don't really care about robots, but it was prolly about time I did a robot comic.
Thanks to everyone who donated, it's GREATLY appreciated! I will be sending you little treats in the mail soon!
I have been working at the IPRC more, which means more access to scanners, which means more bloggy posts. Here is a self-portrait I did today, which will hopefully turn out alright as a screen-printed image.
I don't like to ask, but if any of y'all want to drop a little in my tip jar to the left there, I have two bills due on Monday that I don't got the funds for. I can send you a screen-printed postcard in exchange. Thanks!

I was drawing this yesterday and thinking about how I was being kind of snarky about the just-dumped guy and how several of my friends are going through similar experiences ... I started to feel kind of bad. So - sorry you got dumped, hipster dude, and I hope everything works out for you.

I haven't had time to draw a diary page since I got back on Wednesday, but I should be posting one on Sunday. This is a doodly I did on the plane back from the UK. The quote is Joanna Newsom.
